Netkar Pro, who's playing it?

I only just remembered about this game yesterday after I spotted that the 1.2 update has been released. I bought it ages ago but dont think I've played it since 2007.

I'm really enjoying it. Who else is playing 1.2 and what do you think of it?

I haven't played it in a while though, as nobody else seems to. I'd love to do some racing in it, so let me know if you do anything online.

Yes the servers are very empty. But there are so many of them! I havn't come across a server with more than 7 people in it yet. I just connect to random servers to get a race, so far havn't seen any silly driving either. This game seems to lend itself to the enthusiast rather than someone out for a quick bit of fun.

Never managed to be able to have a go in multiplayer either. Just not populated from what I can see.

In my eyes its right up there with Iracing (but for a fraction of the cost). I see also Mugello has just been released for it and rain is arriving in a patch soon.

I do hope that its a sign of things to come, that way I can stop pouring money into Iracing.

Yes I am really looking forward to the rain patch.

It seems strange that nobody has converted across any of the mods available for rfactor etc despite doing some tracks. I wonder if maybe the way physics etc is calculated is very different and the developer hasn't made it very user friendly to edit?

Version 1.3 is out in a few days with new cars, tracks and rain effects.
