OK I have a problem and seems to be only me. So thought a handy thread than may come in useful in the future for others.

So my issue at the mo: During getting my licence's ( I have the first 2 so far) I can use the select button to use the incar view. great . How I like to play these games.

But when changing the view with select in the races I can only change from bonnet view, top of car view or outside of car?

So what have I done wrong? any helpful suggestions?

good thread Remal

only the Premium cars have the interior viewpoint, the lower level cars don't (basically any that aren't bought from the main dealers)

I'm still waiting for Amazon to deliver my copy but for those of you that have yours I have a few questions:

Does the head tracking work in 2D mode as well as 3D mode?

Does the online mode support voice chat?

I suggest Fiat 500s with a bonus for the most number of rolls!

I watched this and it seemed like it needed 3D at the start, but the demo looked to be in 2D?

I just got it to work, if anyones interested. Cos there does seem to be a lack of help with this.

I turned the lense on the camere to the left, so its zoomed (the red light comes on)
Then while looking at the playstation eye settings and the preview window; I lined up the camera and sat so my head was right in the center.
I left all the options as they were, except for the last one. Cant remember what its called but it reduces the size of the box u can see in the preview window ?

If you slowly reduce the size until the little cross snaps to where ur head is. You will kno whens its right because u can lean left and right and the cross follows ur face. Mine is set on 65.

I then went straight into an arcade race with a BMW M3, went to cockpit view. And if I turn my head to the right slightly the screen moved so I could see the rear view better.
And if I turn my head to the left slightly the screen moves so I can see the left wing mirror better.

Not a whole lot of use to it. But I believe this is how it was intended. I dont believe it was meant for you to look directly to ur left or right (so u can see ppl coming up the side of u) because u wudnt be looking at the tv if that was the case !

  • note: my room is not well lit, and my background has posters and tshirts hanging up behind me.
hope this helps

when I say races it was just 1 race that I got all the £££ from. But going to look into the other special events as I think it may be a good way to get some money from. Karting is fun but a bh to drive

Yeah having same problem, can't get incar view whilst racing only in licences.
