Its out this Friday - kinda snuck up on me.

Big fan of Fable 1&2 - I enjoyed their whimsical, fairytale storys, silly in-jokes and doesn't-take-itself-too-seriously approach to gaming. Fable 3 seems to be a little darker than the previous two, but hoping for good things. Suspect it'll be very similar to the last two.

Good voice cast too - John Cleese, Zoe Wannamaker, Stephen Fry, Ben Kingsley, Simon Pegg, Jonathan Ross etc etc...

Lastly, impressively clever chicken based trailer:

Its going to be the nuts, but its been out shined this winter, with other big releases this has been quite a quiet one, especially when you think back to fable 2 hypetrain.

I still need to finish fable 2 i stopped when i escaped prison, with black ops on its way and fallout taking all my time, this will be a summer purchase for me when we have a gaming drought.

i had my local game shop reserve me a copy of the Limited Edition so i will be picking it up on friday biggrin
cant wait been looking forward to this for ages. im in need of a nice long game with lots of things to do as game i bought last week disapointed me as i finished it same day i got it frown game in question is medal of honor lol.
but yes the limited edition comes with quite a few extras and i think its worth the extra money seeing as it they ever put it on as DLC on the marketplace it will probably end up costing more.

I couldn't work out why I ended up as a nice fat bloke in Fable 2.

Might have another go and be completely evil.

err surely thats a trick question? I depends on what you eat? If you get fat you just run everywhere instead of teleporting.

Really looking forward to this one. The only downside is that it is coming out so soon after Fallout NV.

You sure he not got it mixed up with fallout.

Highly doubt play would make such error.

Reviews thus far aren't too promising. I will have a dabble once it reaches the £20 depths.

Giant Bomb gave it 3 stars. Said that lots of things simply didn't make sense in it, instead of pressing up on the dpad to bring up the map, it only lets you do that when it deems that you might want to, for changing weapons or clothing you need to go to a hub, then move to a wall to swap out anything, before going back to the world.

Then there is the fact that the ending comes before you've got a chance to prepare for it, so side-quests and things you might want to wrap up, end up getting left undone, which in turn affects your ending and the way the world looks.

I always use GameRankings when looking at reviws as they take all the published reviews and give the game it's average score, so far it's at 86% which isn't bad really.

He's pretty adamant that it's Fable...but have ordered it myself so I'll report back if it gets dispatched!
