COD MW2: strange gameplay observed

Now don't get me wrong I enjoy the odd game on-line even though I get murdered more frequently than I do the murdering. However, I was observing the boy child playing on-line last night in a private match with a few of his pals.
They were all using an intervention sniper rifle on rust, spinning around and shooting at each other somewhat randomly without aiming (I understand the phenomena is called quick scoping or no scoping). I think throwing knives were also on the menu too. I asked for a go but was given short shrift after launching an AT4 into the crowd and then opening up with an RPD (from on high). What is the point of this...??
Oh yeah and can you now hide in a rock on Fuel..??

No idea on the first one but I've seen a few people spinning on spot and stopping instantly lined up with the target. You can hide in a rock in fuel in the wide open area, and I cant work out how to kill the camping cheating £$%£$%£...
It isn't cheating, its just something that people do to look cool and have a laugh. You need to set up a class with the right perks, then turn your sensitivity up so you can spin quicker, then just time it right so you get near to hitting people. Practise makes perfect, and if you have a browse on Youtube, there are some who are brilliant at it.
