Any good 2 player games PS3?

Hi all, was wondering whether anyone could reccomend me a two player game for the PS3? Recently been shipped off to university and one of my flatmates keeps nagging me about getting a 2 player game, so could anyone point me in the direction of any new or soon to be released games that would suit? Was waiting for GT5 but will probably die before that's released...

Off the top of my head I'd say:

Fifa 11
Street Fighter 4
Tekken 6
Army of Two

If thers a few of you playing, then get the mini game feeding frenzy 2. Its so addicting and its funny when you get your mates on multiplayer

Thanks for all the suggestions, Fifa was the direction I was leaning in. Tempted to hold out for a car game - maybe NFS Hot Pursuit will be 2 player? Definitely a scarcity of good driving games on the PS3 that cater for 2 players, GT5 Prologue can only do so much!

Tekken is a lot of fun, whichever is the latest one. Add a crate of beer into the mix, and some pizza, and you're onto a winner. You should be able to get it for about a tenner too.

I had Curry, but the stupid bloody internet here requires you to sign in through a portal using your student ID everytime you want to get online, and because Microsoft idn't see fit to grace the 360 with web browsing capabilities (ala PS3), I can't actually get the screen up to sign in, and if I can't get online to battle it out against you guys on Forza it's bloody pointless! So I sent it home and just kept the PSTriple here... :/

split screening su*ks!.. no matter how big your tv. tell him to stop nagging and buy a ps3 himself so you can have some proper lan games together

failing that fightnight round 3 (cheap 2nd hand about a tenner) or latest is 4 i think.. those are very good and addictive to play drunk with mates - and dont require a split screen

Agree with Stormloaded split screening does suck

Worth having a look around the PSN store as well probably some little gems on there as well
