Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit

I haven't been excited about a NFS for ages, but this one is being made by Criterion Games who made Burnout Paradise which had amazing multiplayer and was just generally fun in every way.

Have a watch of some of the other videos too.

Demo is out on the 26th Oct which should be good.

Lets hope it doesnt play as badly as nfs st the only driving game I have ever given up on and traded in. I was a big fan of the nfs series right back to the original pc version but shift put me right off

Its quite good. I left it to download overnite.
Can play as the Police, but to play as the escapee, you need a friend on who has also played the Demo.

I did this very late last night after spending near on 2 hours downloading the chuffing thing. I was impressed though, particularly as they have made the important decision to steer away from where the NFS titles would have headed, had they continued along the same line they have done for many years now.

Good list of cars and some good arcade fun.

After playing the demo i think the steering could be a little more responsive. I got tired of hitting them barriers but like all driving games i will get use to it after a day.

It's a shame the handling is really awful and that the other cars barely react to being hit
