PS3 - any great aerial (or deep space) dogfighting games...

...I am not looking for a flight sim, with loads of complicated controls - but brilliant graphics and gameplay and can be set WW1 or hundreds of years into the future!

The game doesn't have to be JUST dogfighting, but a healthy does of Top Gun or Buck Rogers style combat would be great!!

Also there is a game coming out called "Apache Air Assault" that looks good. Xbox360 and PS3

Ah, that looks like it could be fun - an update on the Apache game I used to play.... And on-line too.....

The Apache game's by the same outfit that did Il-2 Birds of Prey, which I reckon is well worth a punt, and should be about fairly cheap now as well. The HAWX games left me a tad cold, especially no. 2. The next Ace Combat (early next year?) looks like it'll be the dog's.

Yes, I must agree, a flight sim on a PC will be miles ahead of any on a PS3.

I am currently in a state of unhappyness because Starlancer doesnt work with Vista.

Going to get my XP machine imported soon so I can play!
