F1 2010 Lap times

Personally i find the races on this game nigh on impossible. The other cars brake too early, you touch them, you get told off.
You slightly touch the barrier, or slow down too much for a corner whilst ahead (from a cock up), and then you get told off for illegal blocking!!!
You are on a flying lap in quali and Glock is on the racing line doing 45mph......great game, but in some ways it seems rushed.
So currently i am spending most of my time on time trials putting in lap after lap on my own trying to perfect a track.
I think we should have a thread where we post our best times on certain tracks, then it gives people like me someone to race against (sort of).
I am not particularly good, but i will start off with my monaco time. (if someone has some genius table they want to create go for it.

Thats some going. I am going to have to get back on it tonight and have a go. My S1 & S3 are rapid, but in qualimy S2 was behind the AI, so if i can get a sec or two that i'll be with you.Although that was using TC and ABS
someone Asked for an easier track, trust me mate spend half on this track and it really is fairly easy, just have to be smooth and ease on the accel out of the sharp bends. The only bit i find hard is the square chicane at the bottom of the hill when you are out of the tunnel.

Finding manual gears rather hard on the pad.
I use the gear lever with the DFP as i find it easier to fast downchange and feel how many gears Ive gone down, so I'm one handed a fair bit. The DFP paddles are more like buttons behind the wheel and don't have much feel and it's easy to go down too many gears than you need. Aside from that the wheel itself is great, just adjust the wheel settings in the game to get rid of the steering dead zone. I think the default is 5% for some reason, reduce that to 0 and it's good. I have Force Feedback set at 100% effects, 80% strength and 60% wheel weight.
