Very Very Bad Game

A warning to you all.

Namco have released a new racing game called R:Racing.

This game has without a doubt the worst handling model of any racing game I have ever played (and I've played more than a few).

Just from playing the demo it is beyond my reasoning how any game studio could release a game with handling this poor.

So if you must get it - make sure you can get a full refund when you return it (because I would be surprised if you don't).

Also do not be fooled into thinking that it will handle like the Ridge Racer series (which I love), that was my preconception before playing. Its bugger all like any of the RR games.

I know we have a shortage of good racing games coming out at the moment - but please avoid this one - or at least try before you buy (and make sure you can take it back).

Played the demo today..

It realy is hard to believe how bad it is!

People got paid to make something this bad.

It's a bit better with the in car view rather than following the car.
The car doesn't turn enough with the following view which makes the scenery move too much! if you get my drift.
otherwise you are right it is pretty crap.
