Decent new FPSers?

Hi guys,

Just finished FEAR (yes, I'm out of date. That's why I'm asking on here And it took me a long time to play it, as I usually play after everyone else has gone to bed, and it's a scary game ).

Got Bioshock 2 on order.

Dead Space declined to run on my machine (though it may work on the new one, when I build it.....)

Played all the far cry/crysis games.

Must be a decent single player game, as I need to sleep at some point so don't dare get involved in on-line.

So, any recommendations?
Shooters or Sneakers....

Assassin's Creed 2 any good? Anthing like the old Thief series?

They're not new, but NOLF 1 and 2 by the makers of FEAR both feature an excellent single player experience.

They're both set in the 60's with a comedic style, a bit like Austin Powers but with a Scottish female lead character.

halo reach, bloody good game, its one of those everyone with a console/pc shoul own.

I've played NOLF before.... so long ago I can barely remember it (and IIRC my PC at the time really struggled to run it!).

I'll have a look at those others, thanks.

Decided to spend the day building my new Windows 7 box though, as I don't want to be starting things on one machine then swapping over.
