Sorry for the dramatics but the end of your life for the next 6 or so months has started.
The first of many lock yourself away from the world game demos have arrived with both FIFA and pes releasing their new demos at thesame day. Originally a pes man, switched to FIFA last year as it was so good so looking forward to see what pes have done to catch up.
To pissed to try them mow but I thought I would also mention that the new rally game demo is also available. There goes the weekend!!!

Already got the fifa demo, tis good but being a demo it is very restricted. Would be happy if I could just turn the fecking menu music off. Anyway, despite the limits of the demo the match play alone is enough to make me want to buy the game.
PES has not appealed to me for a looong long time, not since I had a playstation 2, there fore I wont bother with that one.
WRC demo
Was only saying last week during the coupe championship race that it was about time there was a proper rally game on the xbox. So thanks for the heads up, downloading it now (68% complete) Fingers crossed its as good as I hope it is.

t. 'Muddy' (no pun intended) visuals, really ropey audio (engine & mechanical noises are almost identical whether you're inside or out of the car & the co-driver comes out with random phrases vaguely linked to your driving) and the most annoying thing of all in a racing game - it automatically puts you back on the track when you've wandered too far into the scenery. Guess this is final code we're looking at what with a release date within a fortnight but based on that demo I'll pass, what a wasted opportunity 
Not downloaded WRC yet but have been following it`s progress. Was ready to label it as a potential let down but the visuals & speed quite impressed. Granted, not as flashy as the Codemaster titles but seems not to bad to me.
Dirt 2 probably already has it licked & 3 will steal the show next year but I reckon I`ll still give it a whirl.

I quite enjoyed the WRC demo, better than it looked like it might turn out, I turned all the aids off and drove what I thought was a fairly clean stage only to be twenty+ seconds of the pace in last! I found the opposition difficulty is on a sliding scale so plenty of adjustment to get just the right amount of competition.

I have played both the fifa and Pro demo's back to back. Fifa was impressive building on a very successful platform and was generally very good. I was very surprised by Pro though. The recent versions have been poor and I expected this one to follow suit, but it was very good IMO. The movement has been improved as has the passing, giving a much better experience. All in my opinion of course.
