Microsoft points.

I need 1200 MS points, and have found loads on eBay. That's all well and good, but they send it in the post. I need the points for the current Forza offers, but by the time they arrive, the offers wouldve ended. So can you recommend a place which gives an immediate response/dispatch (email) with the code? I've don't this before for XBL memberships, but can't see any for MS points.

I always just buy them through the Xbox Live dashboard with a credit or debit card. You can probably do likewise through the Xbox UK website as well. No need for entering any code.

Exactly this, they simply email you the code, very quickly as well.

Is there a reason for messing about like that instead of just buying points through your Xbox? I thought the points cards and code entering things were just for kids too young to own a bank card.

4200 points on a debit card = £42 iirc.

4200 points off the web = £31-32?

Also the 12 month gold membership is only £27.99 rather than the £38 odd from xbox live.

gamepointsnow.co.uk are good and sent the code through pretty quickly. 4200 points £35, not the cheapest but I'd still recomend them.

I ended up buying them straight for Xbox. Was the easiest option, no hassle and fairly good prices.

I'd pay the Xbox rates for the points but they wont take my stupid bank card for some reason.

It's a pain in the arse to cancel, I wouldn't recommend it, stick to the cheaper cards and spend the tenner saved on a new game.

Be careful they dont just set you up to autorenew your live tho. Caught me out and my phone bill didn't get paid one month.

Your card stays on record and you need to make sure it hasn't activated auto renew.

Your card stays on record and you need to make sure it hasn't activated auto renew.

MS added the facility on the marketplace website to remove cards a year and a bit ago.

I just cleaned mine up from 3 cards to 1.
