Anyone got it and played it? I got bored of Valve time "2 hours to unlock" at 8pm, so went and played some BF2 instead. Will try downloading it tonight, providing its now available.

Downloaded it overnight - looking forward to getting home and playing tonight. I almost forked out the £12 for it a couple of weeks ago (I loved playing Gauntlet multiplayer on my C64 - a few years back now I know) and the gameplay looks similar roll on 5 o'clock

Must be the same as the single player I tried. Team of 4, each choose a type, Sarge, engineer, special ops, medic, etc. Each with their own special skills and weapons. They can all move about the screen within the confines of the screen. The way the levels are made (and look fantastic) it would be difficult to either move forward too far or get left behind, as you will be deaded pretty quickly I think.

It's Gauntlet meets Alien Breed meets Aliens.

It's really quite good. However it seems to be buggy as hell at the moment. Game play works fine for me (which it isn't for a lot) but I can't join an online game, which is annoying.

Played it for a few hours last night (online) - you need at least 3 people or it is very tough going (1 person is not enough to protect the tech when he's working). Had no problems playing co-op (Vista 32 bit - Q8200, ATi HD5550) and neither did a friend of mine (Win 7 32 bit, AMD Phenom 9550, nVidia 9400) .
Fun little game - a bit short but what do you expect for free.

I've posted Specs so you can eliminate various things if you are having trouble. Make sure your nVidia drivers are up to date or you may get the "checker" effect on the aliens.
