PS3 Flight Simulators?

Can anyone recommend a decent flight game for the PS3? Does such a thing exist?

I've got Flight Sim 2002 on the PC (obviously a very old game), but would really prefer a PS3 game although I can understand these games tend to work better on PC's.

Is Flight Sim X on the PC any good? Does it need a beast of a machine to play?

afaik there are no decent ones available, HAWX was ok but not overly realistic on the sim side of things, graphics were pretty good but nothing like MS flight sim etc.

It can do if you if you turn everything up, run 3rd party weather and scenery and highly detailed aircraft, but I have one now

It can be run happily out of the box on lower spec machines if you turn the detail down, turn down AI aircraft, traffic and weather. Use CTRL Z to check FPS levels change the settings till you are happy with what you get.

Hmmm, I might see if I can pick a copy up. I've still got a funky joystick with all the throttle gubbins and that.

I can't quite remember the spec of the PC, I'll let you know when I get home. It plays Battlefield 2 pretty well though on pretty high settings, if I remember correctly.
