G25 Wheel - Aftermarket Replacement

I was a bit bored this week, and decided to change my G25's wheel for a nicer feeling one as it's now really old and you can feel the screws in the back and what-not. I got a 270mm suede wheel from Demon Tweeks in the UK, which is the same size as the G25's original one.

Anyway, it's really easy to do, and the only thing left to do on mine is to find some nicer buttons to replce the two standard G25 ones, but I can do without those for now.

The wheel feels so much nicer to use now, it's amazing how much difference a better quality wheel can make.

Hey, lovely job on the G25! I have been considering changing the rim on mine for quite a while but it doesn't really get used enough to warrant the conversion! Have you noticed any reduction in the quality of forced feedback or is it as good as it was with the original rim?
