PS3 FW 3.40 out and PSN+ live

Well seems its live, new backgrounds; avatars; autodownloads and some trials and betas included.

Anyone planning on giving it a go ?

Nope, waste of money in my opinion. I'd rather get XBOX live on my 360.

I started the 3.40 download before work this morning. But won't be getting psn live. No point. I'm sure I can download a updates and DLC as and when I need it.

Also I can count on one hand the amount of demos I have downloaded in the last 18 months. So no great loss.

I have never bought a PSN title and hardly ever download demos so I won't be paying for this.

I download pretty much every demo going, most get no more than a few minutes of play but a few point me in the direction of my next purchase. It's free, so why not.

I'll not pay for them though.

I see nothing in that artical that makes me want to shell out for +.
