Civ!!! fk me this game's addictive! I only got it yesterday after buying it from amazon to try, I lost the entire evening... In the words of Harry Hill, 'It's a bit moorish' isn't it?

I thought WoW could waste hours of life, but this is ridiculous, I may have to uninstall it immediately before I lose the entire summer.

No, do not start it, never start a game! i have uninstalled it and will not play it until the new one comes out, it is too dangerous.

It is very cleverly designed to make it as addictive as possible. Just keep asking yourself "am I actually enjoying this, or just trying to reach the next level?" and you should be fine.

I couldn't get to grips with that game.

Turn based games are always tedious but this was just terrible. Constantly clicking that 'next turn' button and the game seems to pretty much decide what you're going to do. Whatever stuff I researched seemed to make no difference to the outcome of the game. I don't understand why the people in the game are twice the size of a city either, really weird. Plus the guy in the tutorial was the most boring man in the world. I understand he made the game... makes sense

Glad I'm not the only one currently hooked! Presently 60 turns from finishing a "Rhyse and fall" mod game as America. Damn it's addictive, especially when your winning all-out wars and taking valuable cities/land.

If your up for a small, fast 1v1 online game, let me know. "fast" with more than 2 human players usually works out 8hrs+!!!
