Xbox 360 with VGA Monitor (shadows)

I was wondering if anyone else does this and have you any problems with it?

I've been using it on and off for 3 1/2 years now, and have always had a little shadow on every letter/picture on the screen.

I usually just ignore it but i've just started playing the new splinter cell and it makes the many cut scenes rather, well irritating.

So i'm looking for advice on anyone who has solved this problem? Hopefully anyway

Is this on a TV, or pc monitor? Was just wondering if it was a convergence setting maybe.Also, what resolution are you running?

Bad cable most likely, how long is it and where did you get it from?

I had the same issue with a 10m Belkin cable - too long and not of good enough quality.
