My new P900 is a truly marvellous thing! Not only can I use it to phone people, I can also use it to read and post here on PH, send e-mail and now play three of the best games ever: Doom and Monkey Island 1 & 2!

Ok - so I could do all that before on my SPV or Ipaq, but having a single (relatively) small device to do everything is just so cool!

I'll dig out the link, or even better drop me an e-mail through my profile and I'll send you the files

Edited to add: the games are running on a port of the excellent ScummVM emulator. The P800/900 port is available here (this is not the official site - can't find the link at the moment). You'll need the original game data files to play. The ones I have are from the floppy disk version, so you get the cool music too.

I've got this too, great fun! I love the Monkey Island games.

The program is called Escummv which emulates the scum machine and allows you to play most of the old Scumm games (like Indiana Jones for example)

Also got Lemmings, which is very cool

Installed scumm from your link onto the P900 and the data files for monkey island. But,when I run scumm and try to find the games nothing is listed?

Any ideas????

PS. D'you know what drive letter gets assigned to the Memory Stick Duo?

In the screen where it asks you to choose a game, click 'Add' and point it to where your Monkey Island data files are. The Memory Stick is drive D:

Lemmings:

Enjoy

All you need to do is point it at the right directory - it won't show you anything until you click the 'choose' button then you'll get a list of games you may (or may not!) have stuck in that directory. It's very clunky, but it works so I ain't complaining

All I need to do now is find out why it isn't saving games and keeps booting me back to the beginning...

No - it's a standalone game.

Got your e-mail BTW. I'll send you the goodies when I get home this evening

If you are talking about the Scumm emulator Judas says yes it should. He thinks it was originally developed for the P800.
