Lost and damned or BOGT

Just picked this up for ps3, Which should I play first?

I've not played much of Lost and the Damned yet but Ballad of Gay Tony is superb, really goes back to how GTA should be.

Ballad of gay tony. The lost and the damned is awful imo. Cant stand the constant use of motorbike in it.

Completed TBOGT last night. Although its got a lot more crazy stuff in it than TLAD - skydiving, gunships, tanks etc - i actually enjoyed it less.

I thought TLAD was a better story and i enjoyed biking around with some great tunes from Liberty Rock Radio belting out.

However, it could simply be because i was getting a bit bored of Liberty City towards the end of TBOGT.....

BOGT is certainly better (At least IMO), but which one you play first is entirely up to you...

Decided to play lost and damned first, Leave the best til' last. Thought it was quite bland tbh. Half way through bogt now and really enjoying it.

TLOD is very earnest and humourless I thought, plus it's set in Jersey which was my least favourite part of GTAIV
Also I hated the characters, Billy in particular was an irritating bell-end and I thought all the gang-member brothers for life stuff was very cliched. The music was great though.

BoGT on the other hand was brilliant. Very funny, great personalities and I liked Luis better than Nico from the original game.
