Very nicely done teaser trailer for Crysis 2.

Shame there's no gameplay footage but i suppose its just a teaser. Hopefully could be even better than the original Crysis, which I really enjoyed (much better than Far Cry 1/2 IMHO.)

At least now there's a decent single-player FPS to get excited about this year, since Half Life 2: Episode 3 is still seemingly AWOL!

Abit too apocoliptic (IS THAT EVEN A WORD?) for my liking, but looks good can see it actually be less graphically able than crysis for the reasons of this one is ps3 and 360 also.

Not holding my breath with this. Crysis was made from the grounds up to be the best it could possibly be with PC tech avaliable. However they will not be doing this for the second one as it's being ported to consoles and they are still running DX9 and unable to use the advanced shader models and physix models that they would want to use. Unless of course the rewrite the engine for the consoles and turn most of the techno trickery off.

I always thought (and I wasn't alone by any means) that the sttest part of the original Far Cry was when the monsters arrived. Likewise Crysis 1.

I thought they'd learned their lesson.

I loved running around on Crysis and smashing Korean heads in....hmmm I have a new monitor and gfx card now....runs off to see how it runs on full settings in HD

The big objective they seem to have set themselves is to have the best looking game ever released on Xbox or PS3. From the initial reports from the press launch the general conclusion is that they have managed it.

Edge had a big preview on it a few months back and it certainly seems like an interesting concept. From a technical perspective I suspect that it will be game changer, but whether or not that means it will be a good game is anyone's guess.

Looks like my PC will need an upgrade for that then! Loved the first one and the expansion even more so (probably because of the better character).

Hope it isn't ruined by porting it to the consoles.

Been eyeballing this title for a while, never played the 1st one on the PC but will be scooping Crysis 2 on release day.

There is a multiplayer demo out on Xbox at the moment and I rather enjoyed it. The graphics did look immense. It was quite good to play too. I think Battlefield will have the better graphics when that comes out but this is definitely the prettiest thing I've seen in a while.

Just went on to the demo and apparently its ended. I flipping hate the way EA cancel out demos like this. So annoying.

Gave the career a little whirl this afternoon. Very nice indeed..stunning backgrounds & cut-scenes..solid gunplay too, just need to remember to use the suit more before steaming in, stealth is effective at making space when your pinned down & armour is handy when engaging a group of targets when they all spot you & open up..

Easily up there with the top shooters like the COD series so far it seems to me.
