PGR2 - How much time?
Discussion
Just interested to see how much time all of you have put into PGR2. I've put in 44hours 37 minutes and 20 seconds over the time i've owned it.
If you want, we can also do mileage, mine is 2134.9 miles.
To find out go to the options menu, and then profile and it will say how long you've been playing it for and the mileage you've covered.
So what are your times and mileages?

viper are you online?
just beat someone online on the ring and you'll get it with having to complete everything

There we go....nice new 32" all installed & working soooooooooooooo............
Mileage is around 4460 & total time is 145 hours or so. Got all the platinums for me trouble which is nice!
Wow, what dedication
I have about 80 platinums and about 16 silvers left. Is the TVR really worth the effort?

Erm......it's definately quicker than all the other cars. My time with it now is 6.14.001 round the 'Ring; the best I managed with the Porsche GT1 was about 6.28. But then again that could be 'cos I had the incentive to practice on the 'Ring now that I have the TVR.
It's a lot more slidey than the Porsche though & when it gets out of shape, it REALLY gets out of shape.
If you've got Live, then go for it, put the effort in for the TVR so you can blow everyone else away, if not, I would say it's probably not worth the hassle. Then if someone had said that to me, I wouldn't have taken any notice. But I did have to work at some of the platinum challenges (when I say work, I mean I put in a couple of hours non-stop EACH on just 2 or 3 different challenges!)
Can I reopen this one for a couple of questions?
How do you open the hidden cars? Reading between the lines here it would appear to be only available if you go online - is this the case?
I am still getting to grips with this game - have hustled my way up to the Trackday specials with only silvers all the way.
Need to dedicate more time and frustration to achieving gold - far less platinum. How do you get platinum at anything!!??
Phil (evidently a crap driver!)

I completed the game at the weekend with 90% Silver + a few Gold, Bronze and one Steel (frigging cone levels). When I won the series it said "Congratulations on completeing the World Series at Steel Level!!!" When you complete the series, you get a car. I went back and took the Steel through to Bronze and got another car. I can't really be bothered to get all Silvers let alone Gold/Platinum. I guess the 3 unlocked cars are the result of completing at Silver/Gold/Platinum levels.
I've rarely come across anyone using the unlocked cars online and besides, you can specify car classes etc. Online is great fun, if you don't get some idiot kid treating it as a 'banger' race.

I'd say it's well worthwhile getting all silvers, as you get the Porsche 911 GT1... Which is nice...
I'm half way through on gold now, but have lost interest and only really use it for on-line now. I have 94 out of 102 cars so figure I've got my moneys worth out of the game! (5651.9 miles and 241 hours!)

Porsche 911 GT1 is awesome around the Nürburgring - currently have a best time of 6:34, but hope to improve that.
