The Ring tonight........slowly

OK as hinted last night I'm going to run a 6 lap race of the Ring in my F200 VW Beetle. This is never going to be a fast race, but I anticpate some paint rubbing.

Lobby will open around 8.30 tonight and I will gift everyone identically set up cars for the race.

I don't finish work till about 6pm tonight so gives me a chance to build 8 cars!

Entries please. Anyone not on my FL already please add me so I can gift the car.

On a side note, That Audi is rapid enough, but I was struggling with understeer in the Porche Curves. Will continue to practice with it. Blade seemed to do OK so was probably more me than the car.

Think that might have been me as that one had been tweaked for the Ring, guess I may have buggered up a few settings, send it back and I'll put the same tune on it as Blade's.

Can't decide if this should be run full damage ON to encourage cleaner driving as its along way around the ring at 30mph if you bend it. Don't want bumper cars but there is going to be some contact as they will be racing so close.

Limited damage, 5 second intervals at launch? Avoid first corner shinigans.

Been doing a bit of practice with a standard beetle around the 'ring been getting around in just under 10 minutes on average.

Anybody else been doing any practice laps?

The paints are going to very simple.

Standard rules, no TCS / SMT

Option box / driving line / ABS
