PS3 is wayyy more than 1 year away. If they truly are going to make it like they say they are its going to take them 3 years at least.

If you can find a cheap ps2 buy it, otherwise dont bother.

PS3 is 2006 at earliest!

if you want a PS2, get a PSX (PS2 with hard-drive recording of TV a-la tivo, mp3 player, etc etc)

then get a PSP... same sort of power as a PS2, but a handheld!..

PSX & the handheld are going to be well expensive.

Definatly get a PS2 its the best for driving games.

It will play PS1 games witha PS1 memory card. To save PS2 games you need a PS2 memory card.

IMO Best thing to do is by a second hand console from ebay or something, and then get it chipped
