Bit of a joke on some of the cars isn't it? I was just driving the Compuware Corvette and noticed that it had this brilliant steering wheel with lots of LEDS and a nice display, none of which were lit! Also, the driver of the car didn't turn the bloody steering wheel when I went around the corners.

I wonder how many of the other interiors have this feature?

On closer inspection the bloke does have hands and the steering wheel does turn, but still none of the lights are on.

I don't like how the power thing in the Veyron doesn't work

I also dislike that the driver never moves the steering wheel more than about 20 degrees. If I tried that in real life I'd never get around any corners. Shame really cos some of the interiors are modelled really well. Some of them are lacking though.

I wish you could move the view around aswell.

The interiors got alot better when they released the patch that allowed the driver to move his hands to the gear lever and handbrake.

Sadly, he cannot differentiate between a proper manual and a flappy paddle, poor soul always goes for the knob.

i think its completely crap that you cant move your head around!! second you move the cabin disappears!! its move of a camera... than a head cam or anything as there is no movement either.. its fixed solid.

I think they need to take some lessons from shift on interior views!

Try pushing the right joystick forward, that gives for a fluid view forward and to the front three quarters (helps when going for a corner in a bunch sometimes). Hopefully Turn10 will work out som sort of camera head tracking patch as is going to be featured in GT5.

Ps. Other comment above about the driver not shifting correctly? My driver uses both paddles or manual shifting depending on the car. Ok, so it's not perfect and he does get confused in some cars (he thinks my SLR Sterling Moss is a manual for example) but mostly it's spot on.

Using a pad? It's the game giving you help, the wheels will only turn as far as grip will allow when using a pad - otherwise you would always be at full lock due to the sensitivity of the joystick. Using a wheel you can turn the wheels however you like. (read this on FM.net, don't use a wheel myself)

Hold forward on the stick and look around the cabin - doesn't work if you have multi-screen enabled and I dont think it works with a wheel.

Not in my game he doesn't - any prototype race car, and most which come with flappy paddles he uses them.

Some (a lot) of the interiors are missing bits - especially the race cars, some are very nice though - the F430 GT2 is brilliant, as are the lola aston and the R15.

To make it a bit more usable, play around with your multi-screen settings - from memory its the viewing angle you change, and a value of about 75 makes it feel much more natural.

^^^ Yes, works with pad but not wheel.

Ok it’s not prefect, but I think it’s still pretty good. I particular like the interior clock that syncs with real time.

He's used the paddles on the ones I've driven.
