Right, I know a few of you have been disappointed with the pace/ ability of the GTR in the game... I too initially shared your disappointment, however after countless hours of head scratching, I reckon I have found a few key ways to make the GTR actually work out well... I will shortly be announcing several CAworks garage cars based on this knowledge and hopefully explain a little about how I worked out and honed the set up of this particular car.

For the moment, I will be posting up a set up for a *standard* GTR, no mods - just a change of set up. If you wish to download this, it will be in my storefront (B3NCA) at a special price of 1k. This will be limited to 10 cars and I would appreciate your feedback over whether you feel it is a marked improvement over the standard cars pace. Please drive a standard GTR without any set up work on it first, then change the set up to the CAworks Base set up, you'll notice the difference in braking immediately if you're a vaguely able driver. smile It is under the description "BRAKES!!! - This is just the start..."

I'll go into further detail about it in here as and when I have the time... If the feedback is positive (please rate if so too.. smile) then I will reveal specs of a few CAworks cars available to purchase at a slightly pricier amount (but hopefully worth it! - I need the credits!) I would also be very interested in developing set ups on request for various spec's - if you have a GTR that you're not happy with in terms of set up, but like the specific parts fitted, I will, for a fee, create a set up for it and make it available to you on my storefront.

I am sorry that I cannot be more transparent just yet in the exact workings of the set up, but I will endeavour to go into more detail as and when I can afford to. At present, I need the credits, bad and the only way I can see to do this without spending years racing is to establish my storefront properly. hehe

benchmarking;

Standard GTR

Acceleration
0-60 3.2
0-100 7.5
Top speed 210.9mph
Braking
60-0 131.4ft
100-0 334.0ft
Lat G
60mph 1.11
120mph 1.13

CAworks Base GTR (still standard, NO parts added, just set up changed)

Acceleration
0-60 3.2
0-100 7.5
Top speed 210.9mph
Braking
60-0 107.8ft
100-0 289.1ft
Lat G
60mph 1.11
120mph 1.13

Obviously a couple of other little tweaks see's the numbers fall further still, but you can see how much of a difference even a light set up change has made here. I know people have complained that my previous suggestion was undriveable due to instability under braking, this should feel vastly improved and can be made even more stable with further tweaks - I must stress again, this is a BASE set up of a STANDARD car and much more can be achieved.

Thanks and enjoy!

The tester set up is now 1k. I would like feedback on the difference the set up has made without even touching any mods!!

I will soon release what can be done with a few sensible mods and prove you can create a well balanced, stable, astonishingly capable GTR, just how it is from the factory! smile

Unacceptable, though I too was distracted for about a month, albeit by MX5. hehe
