Not a bad find - only had the pleasure of playing on 7 consoles/gaming devices from that list: SNES, PS1, GameCube, Xbox, N-Gage, Xbox360, PS3.

i feel like a geek now after seeing that list.

i have had a Atari STE, Sinclair ZX Spectrum, master system, nes, snes, megadrive, 32x, Game cube, N64, Game boy, Neo Geo pocket Colour, Ps1, PS2, PSP, PS3, Sega Saturn, Game boy Advance, Atari Lynx, and i think that is it. 19 aint bad!

I have owned 56 of the consoles on that list, and currently own 34 of them.

Interesting how they've decided what to put up there though - there's an original XBox and a Crystal version, and an original PS2 and a Silver version, but no slimline PS2. No Mega Drive 2. No slimline PS3. But there is a psONE. There is a Game Boy Pocket, but no DS lite or PSP Go.

I've had a few, Atari 2600 through to my PS3 and Wii of today (though I used to have an old thing which just did the ping tennis thing - I can't see it on there.... )

No, just a lot of boxes and no space left under the telly. To be fair most of them are handhelds (one day I will own at least one of every handheld console ever made) so store away quite nicely. There are 14 "full size" consoles ready to go on shelves under, around and beside the TV.

I told a mate of mine I had bought Modern Warfare 2 just before Christmas, so he popped in on his way home to have a go and see if he should buy it for himself. He was bemused to find me frantically blowing on my copy of Outrun 2019 for the Mega Drive, trying to get that to work instead.

Most people think it's just a nostalgia thing, which I guess it is to some extent, but I also love playing all these old games. I completed Sonic 2 on the Master System again the other day, had to leave the damn thing on all weekend as you can't save your progress!

Yes the choice is a little odd.
Two Jaguars....one with the toilet seat CD-ROM drive and one without. The drive is an add-on and not really a console in its own right.

There's no C= C64GS and they have a PAL Snes with a 3rd party controller. Any serious gamer/collector would have a US machine to play games at their full speed.

I don't currently own, and indeed have never owned a SNES.

Can't see the Konix. There are some there that I had forgotten and some I never heard of, like Apple one.

I have a fairly mainstream gaming/console history! In chronological order I have or have had:

Commodore +4 (hand down present in about 1990)
Commodore 64 (quickly graduated to for better, and range of, games available)
Game Boy (still have, but it has an annoying line down the screen)
SNES (still have but only a few games)
Megadrive
PS1
PS2 (still have due to annoying lack of backwards compatibility of PS3)
Wii (still have)
PS3 Slim (only just got)

Wish I still had me C64, I sold it to buy more games for my NES. Think my first pc was the Vic 20.

Edit. Anyone know what the price was of a vic 20 and 64 was way back when?

Me too - well, I sold it to raise cash for more SNES games (which were pretty pricey for a 13/14 year old: about £60 for Donkey Kong Country IIRC!)
