Setting up a car on Forza 3 - Understeer

Can I pick the PH brains?

I have a R class exige but it is crap, it just understeers and understeers.

I tried with out traction control and stability control and it was very, erm, lively!!! I also kept spinning

Is there any driving tips to remove it? Any setup advice?

Change camber and toe settings, give yourself a sharper turn in and allow you to corner quicker

To cure understeer reduce the front anti-roll bars and / or front springs

To cure oversteer do the same to the rears instead.

Very basic principle but works great with tweaks.

Read the tips on the tuning sliders - adjust one at a time and see what happens.

Turn off ABS and learn to moderate your braking... That is of course if you're understeering under braking.

Decrease your caster angle to about 3.0 and your front Camber to +1.1...

That should give you a sharper turn in...

It's a mid engined car, you will always get understeer if you put more power in than it can handle.

I would suggest that you have taken the exige out of it's comfort zone re it's class, possibly S could be it's max or even A.

It's a mid engined car, you will always get understeer if you put more power in than it can handle.

I would suggest that you have taken the exige out of it's comfort zone re it's class, possibly S could be it's max or even A.

but it IS possible to compensate for this with a good tuning setup...

With understeer, I will wind on more cornering on my front aero package, and adjust the diff settings, to try and dial it out, if not look at your suspension setup, sone of the advice above is good!

But there's always more tweek's to get it right for the exact model.

You may be able to tune it out, but I was speaking about competitiveness of the car.

You may be able to get it running good, but that's no good if your 4-5 seconds off the pace.
