I've had this game for months and never played it so gave it a go this week - it's absolutely brilliant. Everything is just so well done, the only gripe I have is that sometimes you jump for something and miss it because it is on a different level (depth wise) than you think and it's not easy to see. The timed levels are especially addictive trying to get up the online leaderboard. Considering this game costs less than £20 it's a no-brainer IMO.

I loved this game when it first came out. I think the 2nd to last level(?) was a nightmare, The big wheel one. God that took ages.

The best bit is online though, looking for all the user made levels, I seem to remember the mario and tetris levels being brilliant. Especially 3-4 player. I bet there are loads more levels now though, might have to rent it again to have a gander.

Is brilliant, another game to show off the console when people ask how and why do you spend so long on these games,

Nice big screen, sit them down and go make a cup of tea when you get back see if they have changed their mind.

For me this got very old very quick.

Very well done, well animated and some of the problems of it were good but I just didn't really see the point and never finished it.

I purchased LBP when it first came out a full price, and i still think it was well worth it. An excellent, quite surreal game. Makes one proud to own a PS3.

It is an awesome game. I stopped playing a while ago as I was trying to do the same section for about a week. Its far in, With a biiiig wheel you have to run in, Grab things, Jump over burning stuff as it rotates. Annoyed me too much!

that's the level I was on about earlier. I left the game for a few weeks on that level too. Went back later and finished it after 2 or 3 goes. It is a nightmare though.

I gave up on it! I tried for weeks. My brother tried a few times. My girlfriend tried a few times. In the end I deemed it a bit closer to impossible! Haha. Might give it another go again at some point. Is it really that close to the end?

from memory yeah. After the wheel you drop down into another short bit. Then i'm sure you have one more level.

this is the same reason i gave up on it... good game but how its target age is supposed to do half the stuff on it is beyond me! I found the multiplayer to be a lag fest so gave up on that but the online levels are fantastic.. the sonic one in particular!



ETA: Ive got that BLOODY stupid music in my head now ARGH!!!

Haha I wish mate - I hardly see the Mrs as it is with Forza 3 in the house

I will probably get a PS3(4) when Gran Turismo 5 is released and then just play LBP on it.

I will have to make do with visiting other people to play it

Not the OH but my daughter (9yr)who had showed no interest in gaming loves it ,to the point where I lose the PS for a few hours at a time

I got stuck on the "big wheely thing" level too... lost all enthusiasm for it after a dozen attempts, went back to the start for 100% objects, but where you need two or three players became a pain waiting for people to join, and it was laggy as hell!

Shame cos I really liked it up to that point...
