Every fking time trial rank leader is using a fking viper, its just ridiculous! Its not like its just a few tracks either, its every pissing track, even the super short twisty ones.

They are just using the car that gets the fastest time for them. There will always be leaderboard cars.

I have to admit it is kind of boring that everyone's using the same car.

Although there are a few tracks that have a variety of cars at the top.

i.e. this weeks Time trial (MOTEGI EAST CIRCUIT) had 7-8 different cars on the leaderboards.

I thought in the Time Trials you could only use the car that was assigned to that Time Trial. Hence making it all about skill as everyone is running the same car????

Well under one spec the Viper has 4wd and 1016bhp, makes it pretty rapid.

You can also take any class of car through the leaderboards, then class then track.

Its not the fact that people are using it because its fast, but more the fact its the fastest in s class for every bloody track out there.

yeah, but for time trials, you can only use the car for that time trial.

I know you can be ranked by class/track in circuit, drag etc.

But time trials are one track, one car. Atleast thats what the time trials are on my Forza 3.

Wasn't this the case in GT1 or maybe GT2 though? There was an unmodified championship where the only car you could really win with was a Viper.

To be fair I had this last night doing some online B races there were 2 chaps (seemed like nice guys) who knew each other. They both ran identical Celica GT4's and the latest gen Celica's and no matter what I used I couldnt touch them, even on the straights they would just zoom into the distance.

Its all about knowing what car will do what I supose and what set up is best.

Most of E class cars in the time trials is either the MK2 golf or Corrado.
