Best Wii car game please?

My 6 year has a Wii now, wots best most realistic driving game, I know xBox etc may be better but weve got a wii...Ta

Basically which ever one you lke the look of or cars you like.
But you will be choosing the best of a bad bunch.
In terms of racing Mario is the best game, but dont go expecting much realism in wii racing games.
If you insist, I suppose F1 is the most realistic as it is based on a real race series, but I personally dont like steering by tilting the controller as it is not very precise.

No they are all crap, Dirt 2 is ok, and Ferrari challenge (or something) just, I have played every single driving game on the wii and without reservation they are all crap, Mariokart is brilliant, everything else isn't.

Mariokart - and great for when the grown ups can wrestle the controllers away. Need to make sure you limit the kids playing time, as you wouldn't want to be upstaged!

lol say no more.
But the answer still stands lol Not much out there for the Wii in terms of realism. Embrace your inner child and get Mario Kart.
Oh and New Sper Mario Bros is up there in terms of must have games for the wii. It makes a great party game too with 4 people on the screen at the same time.
If you really are a car fanatic gamer, i'm afraid you will have to convince the wife that little Johnny really wants and xbox or a PS3....

Yeah we have kart....its ok for kids. we played on 360 at xmas...amazing. Dont want kids to advance to fast though.

Trying to keep Scalextric in there before comp games take over.

I know the X and 360 are better for the car games etc.

Think I will get the NFS undercover, that should teach them some bad lessons .....

If you want realism, F1 2009 on the Wii is pretty good. I bought it for my brother in law for Xmas and we had some fun playing that on Xmas day. This game is not available on HD consoles at all yet, it's a Wii exclusive.

Yes it does, If right handed accelerate is done using one of the buttons at your right thumb so it's full throttle or no throttle. The brake is done using the trigger which you have to use the left hand on, and the steering is a little odd considering it's relative to turning a real steering wheel, goes from a mild correction to full lock within a couple of degrees rotation, would improve massively if intergrated with motion plus.
