What was going on here?

Plating MW2 last night in a Hardcore HQ game on Derail, no lag or any glitching in the game in general.

I spot a guy moving towards me, as he gets closer my screen starts to glitch and he starts glitching around te screen, then I am dead. I respawn and carry on.

A few seconds later I spot the guy again and start to move up behind him, again the screen goes all glitchy and suddenly I am dead again. Respawn and carry on.

Later in the match the UAV shows someone hidden behind a wall a move towards the marker and the screen starts jumping again, fk this I think and start blasting with the RPD, firing straight at the fker he starts glitching around me, I got off loads of rounds at him but miss then he is right next to me and I am dead.

Was this a lag switch? Aim bot? I have never seen anything like this on a console before, fking PC cheaters infecting X-Box live now.

I filed a complaint for tampering but I wonder if they actually do anything about this.

Could be a lag switch. Not too sure unfortunately.

MW2 is quite possibly the best and most recent example of a great game being completely and utterly ruined by the (what should have been fantastic) online experience. I have gone back to forza 3

• should probably point out that I play Modern Warfare on ps3, not xbox and its still shafted to the point that I dont want to even bother turning the thing on

The guy who made the 2nd video calls himself "EnvMyTalentz", then he has to cheat to win.

How utterly pathetic are some peoples lives?

ETA: I'm pretty sure that is what was happening last night, with it being Hardcore though there was no Killcam.

anyone caught cheeting should be banned, you buy a game for a challenge, if you cheat you will never progress, why ruin other peoples kill,death ratios, happend to me on de rail the glitch switch, unlimeted ammo takes the fun out of it too, use your ammo wise'ly as you limited, if you run out you need to find another weapon lying around which is fun and you dont know what you will find, cheaters are just lazy bds, glad ive never come across a fellow ph'er in my friends list yet cheating, just seem to be young imature people, well hopefully

Yep, it's annoying as hell.

I had one today, he "watched" me though a building, then he followed me heading up the stairs, then he saw me go back down again, then he watched me climb back up and then he shot me as soon as I appeared. Later on, same bloke, different stairs, he saw me coming round the other side of the building then he launched a grenade right at where I was sneaking up the stairs. X-ray vision!?!?
