COD6 Javelin cheats.

I'm getting really fked off with these s. You shoot them & blam they explode with enough force to wipe everyone out close enough to see it. There are too many folk out doing it now, Xbox need to patch this asap. Like the people who hide in the rock on Afghan level, if you have to cheat to win it negates the point in playing.

its only got the blast range of a grenade from the person though, you gotta be pretty close to them but still annoying

Ahh, Don Sálad. Maybe it's different on the PS3 but the blast on Xbox is bigger than a grenade. It's still a javelin blast but a la martyrdom style.

Agreed, it's really beginning to fk me off now too.
I don't realise half the time as im running round like a loonatic trying to kill everything that walks, its usually the sinking feeling i get as i'm knifing them and then see the javelin!
Just stear clear of them or pick them off from long range.
The guys who were doing it last night - 2 on our team & 1 on the other team were ALWAYS at the bottom of the score board as players wise up to it and just stay away from them.
Report them and make them avoided players aswell.

I have heard about it and see it but I have never been caught by one on the PS3, Only seen it done a few times on some matched. It doesn't seem so common the the PS3 as 360

Do they still explode if you manage to knife them?

Just wondering if its worth setting up a class with all of the running perks so if I get stuck in a game with people doing it I can run after them

The Javelin thing is a proper PITA.

Mind you, I had a game on favela last night and the same guy, with his javelin out, kept running towards me. I must have killed him 5 or 6 times before he got tired of it.

I haven't seen the glitch on Afghan though Phil, what's that?

Yes, it also does it if you riot shield them.

Had a result the other day on HC, the whole of the opposing team where running together, I dropped the 3rd guy with sniper(wasn't quick enough for 1 & 2), he went down and blew up taking out all but one of the opposition.

I've been trying to use that to my advantage. People are learning what the jav glitch is so if you run up to them with the javelin out, they'll sometimes run away from you. Then you switch to your main weapon and shoot them in the back

Well hopefully it has been fixed for everyone now It seems like a pointless glitch anyway - you die once to possibly kill once.. I will stick to my usual classes i think

The Afghan glitch is a small space inside a boulder that somehow people are able to crawl into. Once inside, they can see and fire at everything outside of it, but anyone running past can't see them at all. Its a rock that's just outside the smaller door entrance to the inside cave.

The stupid thing is, killcam shows you exactly where they are. The first time that happened to me, i ran down the stairs, up the other side and launched a rocket at the boulder. Didn't see anyone doing it again for the rest of the game.

Agreed that the Javelin thing is very annoying. A few people were doing that in a free-for-all on Rust. That map is manic enough as it is without having exploding Javelin men running up to you as soon as you respawn.

Ah so that's why I keep seeing people firing the Javelin.

I'll be honest though, they always seem to be at the bottom of the scoreboard. Perhaps I haven't played anyone who knows how to make use of the glitch properly?

The cheeky feckers who hide in the map on Afghan is annoying because every retard on my team just keep running to find him and got shot to pieces.

Anyway, I'll have to start playing this with some of the CoD 4 and CoD 5 PHers again.

I'm on the verge of giving up with MW2. On release day, it seemed fine - when I shot people, they went down, good k/d scores etc.

Now, pretty much every game sees me unloading an entire clip (and we're talking burst fire, or even single shot to avoid any recoil issues) only for them to turn round and - BANG, and the hurt is gone. 3 times last night I did this, then got fragged, then about 3 secs after a respawn I get a 'kill'? WTF? I didn't have martyrdom perk by the way

I play with some regulars and I'm sure they're getting bored of my 'latency moanings' but it simply happens way too much to be down to my uber crapness.

Your kill after 3 seconds was probably due to you knocking someone down and them bleeding out from the Last Stand perk.

Using it in hardcore games is a tad retarded. I didn't come across anyone using it in HC matches last night. HC also seems to reduce the "empty clip into someone and they turn around and kill you" problem as it only takes 1 (or maybe 2 at range with silencer) shots to kill someone.
