Adjusting to console from Mouse/Keyboard

Having bought MW2 (fookin great fun) for my PS3, I have come to the conclusion that I am st at using a controller at first person shooters.

How do you lot manage? cos it's quite frustrating to say the least coming from being quite good at CS etc to being a complete nubbin

FragFx. If you haven't spent years on the poxy console controllers, it's the only way.

It's just been practice for me. Starting off with a lower sensitivity and upping it as I get used to it. Still not great but slowly getting there.

I lived on CS and CS:S for years - that was the only shooter I played. Got my PS3 a few years back and when the first modern warfare came out I hated it for months. You just have to get used to it. Get used to the aiming and things. If your good on CS once you master the controls you will be good on MW as online can be quite often full of kids that are easy pickings. Just keep working at it and you will get there soon enough! Mind you it will never feel as direct as a mouse and keyboard.

You will get used to it, it's the same as typing on an iphone, it takes a few months, but you get used to it. It's also less frustrating to play single player for a while first before playing with the hardcore 10 year olds.

I've had a console for around 2 years now and i'm not sure I would be very good with a keyboard and mouse anymore. (Not that my computer could play anything anymore anyway)

Played FPS for years and am quite awesome (and modest too!) Big PR fan also

Got MW2 for 360 and its like I am starting from the begining learning how to walk again
