Has anyone else have this problem?
When i get a 4 or 8 kill streak and try to call in the care package or the 4 pack air drop, i throw a hand gernade instead, but then when i try to call it in again, it comes up "No equipment available"
Why is it doing this? My mate can land crates all match long and i cant get one. Is there a problem or do i need a class perk to reactivate it?
How do i fix this as its getting annoying

Are you sure you're not confusing the care package smoke bomb for the grenade? Also worth bearing in mind that if you're going to drop it indoors, make sure you look up and ensure there is a skylight for it to fall through, always raises a chuckle to see someone running around below a package that they'll never reach as it's got stuck on something.
Best way to deploy them is to crouch down and drop it directly at your feet, that way you'll know that it isn't going to roll somewhere it could get stuck.

Then watch as it lands on your head and kills you! 
Only happened the once, although I did have one where I chucked the smoke onto a hill and the package rolled down towards me like a snowball, gathering pace until it steam-rollered me and some other pikey took it.Stealing them from the other team is the best though, saw one guy sneaking over to his yesterday, shot him and then proceeded to turn his own helicopter on him.
Its on ps3.
It comes up care package, and has the symbol on the screen to show it, i click to throw it and i throw a gernade. Im not a retard as i managed it fine before this crap started before you all point and laugh at me!
When i respawn i get the voice saying care package ready for deployment etc. But the above keeps happening.

So are you 100% sure it's a grenade? As it does look a bit grenadey until it lands and then starts pouring red smoke.It comes up care package, and has the symbol on the screen to show it, i click to throw it and i throw a gernade. Im not a retard as i managed it fine before this crap started

Otherwise I'm not sure what to suggest.

Every time I try and load up an online game, the loading bar doesn't get to the end and consequently freezes my PS3.

Thanks for the ps3 snipe as well. You get this problem on xbox? Also as i have already said, my mates do not have this problem with their ps3s and we play quite alot in the same party so i know when they have a care package.
