Cheap Wii Wiis

Just a quick heads up for those in the market for a Wii (probably about 1% of the Western world judging by sales figures!) - Sainsbury's are selling white Wii with Sports Resort and MotionPlus controller for £135.99

I was going to get one of the black ones to match my XBox and TV, but at that price I'm not too bothered! Now I can play some old Gamecube games too, and watch iPlayer (coming to Wii next week). One per customer, offer online until stocks run out - free delivery too.

Typical, I bought one on Friday night in Toys R Us after pricing up all the other places.

Still, got the nice black one which matches all the other stuff.

Next best offer I've found is Asda Direct, doing Wii plus Sports Resort and Mario Kart for £167, but that one's also sold out online...

Anyone spotted anything good other than the Asda / Sainsbury ones? Anyone had any luck picking up either of these offers in stores? Might try a couple of local stores in my lunch-hour.

Final post in my conversation with myself...! Nipped to the local Sainsbury's at lunchtime and picked up a Wii for £135.99. Very happy!

Woman who served me said they still had 5 in stock, but that the price was going back up to normal tomorrow. That may be completely inaccurate, but just reporting what she said - you may not have more than a few hours left if you're interested...
