MW2 - Open Mic...and staying on the same team.

Is is just me, or is this a step backwards from WAW? I haven't missed the general pi55yness of randoms you play with or against (PH'ers excepted - never tire of some RedBull / Slowride baiting, sorry i mean banter), the crap singing, the children...

Is there a magic button that i can press to make it all go away?

Also, is it possible to keep a clan together? LAst night a few of us PH'ers were in the same party yet found ourselves on different teams.

Go for the game modes with the asterix, Ground War is a good bet, so long as your party isn't too big for one team then it should match you up OK and you won't have to listen to punk kids.

Me, My brother @& my mate play most evenings & it's really fking annoying you cant play as a party.
The only way we've found of doing it is starting a lobby up, joining a game then your put into gamer chat, then you just mute everyone else.
Hopefully they'll bring a patch out to sort it!

There's an option in the family settings to mute all players that aren't friends, might just do that as 99% of the users are weapons-grade bellends.

I was playing with the PH'ers last night and got left on the other team with 5 of them being Dutch.. I muted them all

The damn kids, who are far too young to play to get annoying.. Screaming and things.

I noticed this trying out MP for the first time yesterday, bit annoying!

What if you were simply to set up a private chat as opposed to party chat? Would that not get around the game modes that disallow it?

Its such a stupid idea. I never thought it was a massive problem being able to have party chat when you were playing.

The only time I can see it being a problem is in search and destroy? Why the hell have they disallowed for many other types of games?
