I played on Vet until the Airport bit and found it the most irritating game I've ever played! It's not even 'skill' type of hard you can't even poke your f**king head round the corner to see who's shooting at you!
It actually spawned me at a checkpoint where I died about a second after, I had to run in various different directions until I found an angle where I wouldn't almost instantly die! Argh!

This is one of my few complaints about the game. There's simply no tactics to it, it's just run and gun. In fact, these people completing it on Vet in 6 hours I'm assuming are just running as fast as they can from checkpoint to checkpoint. It'd be nice if there was a cover system. The AI uses it. Why not the player? Why the hell do I have to be the mug that sticks my head out over the parapet to see where we're being shot at from? I'd like to be able to peek round corners too, just like my AI mates. It borders on retarded. And the constant flow of spawning enemies is a little depressing, mainly because it's the same routine everytime you play it. It makes things like claymores and any defense tactics pointless. On the missions where you're defending the Diner or the Safehouse, each building has about Eleventy-Six doorways (seriously, who designs buildings with so many doors?) for the enemies to get in. Sure, you can place a claymore at each door, but given the enemies are endless it's completely pointless, as soon as one goes off you'll be running around trying to setup new ones by which time twenty billion enemy soldiers will have let themselves in via the door in the basement, or the kitchen, or the lounge, or the toilet.

Maybe 4 missions? Not quite sure, if you go back to the 'Campaign' bit on the main menu and just try and select a single mission to do it should say Act I, Act II and Act III then there will be sub-mission in there the ones greyed out you still need to do.
Hope that helps and good luck!

Am I alone in thinking 6 hours worth of gameplay (singleplayer) isn't really acceptable for a game with a RRP of £55?
FWIW, I completed it on medium in about 5 hours. Aside from the multiplayer aspect (which no doubt they'll bring out loads of map packs at £££), isn't especially good value for money.

Agreed but quality is better than quantity?(sp?) and multiplayer will have years of play.FWIW, I completed it on medium in about 5 hours. Aside from the multiplayer aspect (which no doubt they'll bring out loads of map packs at £££), isn't especially good value for money.

Veteran was laughably easy this time around, compared to the likes of COD4 or WAW. I wasn't running through trying to make each checkpoint before I died, I took out just about everyone I could see and did it in 7 hours 40 mins. There are no infinite respawns this time around, or people that can throw grenades with millimetre accuracy.
The challenge is going to be getting Veteran on all the Spec Ops modes as some of those are mighty tough, especially with the Juggernauts running around.
Edit: For anyone getting stuck, the snap to target function is a life-saver, simply shoot one person and release the aim button, pull it again, fire off a couple of shots and repeat, easy way to rip through 5 or 6 enemies in a couple of seconds.

king amazing! The ending is so good! I'm actually feeling a little bit sad that I've completed it.
