Half Life 2 delayed AGAIN
Discussion
Yeah the voucher thing entitles you to a copy of the game "when it's released".
I cancelled my order for HL2 and, to be honest, won't be buying it out of principle. Most IT bods have timescales to stick to and get hit in the neck for it when they fail to deliver, so why should the gaming industry be any different :-) ?
If they're not careful it'll fall into the H&D2 trap - so long in development that by the time it's released it's so dated it's crap.
Damn it, though, that E3 demo does look impressive ;-)

What is it with game developers?
Why do all multi ££££'s budget games always slip and slip?
Half life 2, GT4, Doom 3.....all getting further and further away. So dissapointing
I just hope Halo 2 is on time!!
Maybe it's all about safe guarding their Multi-million pound investment from crackers who'll be copying the games to P2P networks.
The Half life 2 delay is because someone raided the code:

Even the FBI are on the track now. Computer games is obviously big bucks, but who could you sell it too? It would be so obvious where it had come from.
