Forza fingers - a new medical condition?

I spent most of yesterday playing Forza (the girlfriend's away) and today my right index finger and my left middle finger are numb.
I think I grip the controller too hard... Anyone else had this, and if so, how long does it last? It's most annoying.

(And no, 'playing Forza' is not a euphemism).

I got really bad pain in my wrists and forearms (carpal tunnel) from playing forza 2 - so much so that i ditched the controller and bought the MS wheel instead.

It'd definitely improved things, but i do still get pain in my thumbs now.

Either you guys aren't playing it enough and you haven't adjusted or you've got your hands wrapped round the controller tighter than an esquimoes nad sack.

It's definitely from holding the controller too tightly (ooeerr).

Trouble is that's the only way i could get the tiny movements required to drive properly using the analogue stick.

p.s. Aren't playing it enough? Hahahaha. I haven't eaten in days and i'm not even sure what my son looks like any more. Just one more lap then i'll stop...

My index fingers were agony last sunday after a forza marathon, took 3 days for the pain to go away.

It's definitely a new medical condition!
