FM3 - How to get the best drag start

Folks,

I'm doing the drag racing section of the season play at the moment (waiting to win an R3 car from XP points). I'm doing OK, but have a struggle on in some races getting the throttle right to stop it either bogging down or spinning up. The annoying start sequence doesn't help, as you don't get long to balance the revs. So, any tips on getting a good launch, both using the pad and what to do with the tune to make it easier?

Tune the hell out of something 4wd, I wish I could say use a vette or a camaro but wey to much spinning. My best ones are my fiesta and my R33, I have a lttle more downforce on the rear and slightly less tyre pressure on the rears.

I tuned a vw rabbit to the max earlier

Put an tuned and twin turbod r36 engine in and converted it to awd! its insane the difference driving it fwd and awd make

Although I do think forza does over compensate for how good awd are they seem to dominate the leaderboards


edit: Anyone tried taking off in an AMG black series sl65? impossible it not the word (all aids turned off) waay too much power in 1st + 2nd and seems like none in 3rd :s

Tune the arse off it, go 4WD, laugh at how it launches, cry when you attempt to get around the first corner..
