FM3 Carbon Panels - How to...

I know a few chaps are selling/giving away carbon panels on the FM3 Storefront, and their versions are arguably better than mine, but for those wishing to have a crack themselves, here's how I do it;
1.) Paint your car or bonnet only in Special Colour 'Silver 2' which is the second black to silver colour in the palette, scroll far right to find it.
2.) In the vinyl applicator use the box tool and create lines, approx 0.2 wide and 3.00 tall, space them evenly adjacent to each other. Make lots if you're going to cover a large area.
3.) Spin them to any chosen angle, I generally go for 30ish degrees, and centre them on the panel(s) you wish to 'carbon'
4.) Make another box, colour it black and apply a 60% + or - transparency, make this box cover the lines you've just created.
Once your done, it should look like this;
N.B If you're carboning the bonnet only, you can simply colour the bonnet the Special Colour and the body whatever other colour you choose and the new system doesn't spill over onto the bordering body panels, but if you're going for the roof or other panels you'll need to paint the whole car in the special, then patch the areas you don't want to look like carbon using the vinyl applicator.
