Forza 3 Stratagey?

K, working through the season and keep getting given new cars....so what do i do with them? Right now i'm just using the fastest car I have...so what do i need the fiesta etc for? I feel i may be missing something by not using all the cars i've been given or do i just race and as long as i'm winning dont worry about?

Also....money...do i keep upgrading whatever car i do use...seems i never have much money if i do that....or does big money start to come with more advanced seasons?

Lastly....aside for playing about on the test tracks...what can i use a suped up car for? I've made a super quick 207 but i assume it wont be allowed in season play...will it be allowed online or do online games get restricted as to what you can drive?

I suppose you should just follow the same general rule as Forza 2. Check out the races you need to do and make sure you have a car compatible with each season, then sell the rest or the ones you don't need and spend the money customizing the cars you kept.

If it's the same as the update in Forza 2 (and prize cars are only worth ~1000CR) then keep them, you might need them for a certain series or race.

If you go to event select (below season play) you see a grid with every race series listed. You can race any one whenever you want. That's what your F class fiesta is for! I'm not sure if the season play rolls around to force you back into less powerful cars later on, but for completions sake no doubt you'll be going back.

The restrictions seem fairly lax. If your 600Bhp corsa is class A then it should be eligable in the A class championship, it doesn't seem to limit make model or drive type.

I tend to stick with a car I like and try and use it for as many eligable races, just so I get to know it and tweak it how I like. I'll also just use cars I like (Nissan Silvia S15!) and tune them up to a particular class as I go.

Just do what you like, that's the fun of it. If you want to monster every race in a 1000bhp car then fine, try tuning up some classic to win a particular series.... I wouldn't say you need a strategy, just play and enjoy.

I normally pick a car I like and frive it in many races. I've sold a few of the cars I don't like, just keep the ones I do. The game will let you keep playing with your favourite car.

You do get better cars the higher level you get, but there is some dross too.

I've kept all the cars so far and just tune a select few. A good way of making money in Forza 3 is to make some decals to upload to the Storefront, I was looking on there last night and one guy had made over 900,000 credits from just one very good decal he'd designed.

Yep, I think it's all about just choosing the cars you like, I spent a while last night just going through the car list thinking about all the cars I want to try. If you like the fiesta, there are quite a few E or D class races that it would be suited to with a bit of upgrading.

I'm trying to see how far I can get without spending any money on tuning or cars, currently got nearly a million credits saved up and I've got fairly competitive cars in classes up to A, just received an R8 and also got a Alfa 8c.
