i bought the limited edition and the redeem codes were in the game case.

edit to add: i only paid £5 extra

If i've pre-ordered the standard version, will I still be able to get the 5 cars that are available for the limited edition version, once i play it? I'm assuming it will be part of some DLC or whatnot?

Well the Limited edition cars from Forza2 LE were never made available (apart from the odd competion car on the Forza website) so I don't see why that would be the case this time round.

Some people have been saying they will be available later this time round, but those people seem to be the ones who bought the standard version of the game

yes there is a link on the locked cars . you can buy them with MS points..the lot for 400 points iirc ... not sure how much £'s that is

Only the single "pre-order shop exclusive" will be different. all pre-orders get the R8 blue lightning thing but all shops get a different "one off". Game has a Modded M3 and Gamestation has (IIRC) a modded Mitsu Evo thingy.

The game is the same in every other respect as it should be factory sealed. The pre-order cars mentioned above will be on a seperate "scratch off" voucher/flyer passed to you when you buy (or view email if you internet ordered).
