Anyone play this on World at War? If so, how the hell do I get the Uprated Ammo? I got the 4500 points needed but it just ignored me when I pressed the Square I got more ammo but not uprated? What am I doing wrong?

you have to unlock and start up all the transporters and hook to the main frame. there is 3 you need to do this to.

I've only managed it twice but great fun

Ah right, I have to do all that BEFORE I can even get to the Ammo bit? Ah well, I haven't got past round 5 yet, the guns just aren't good enough (and nor are my skills on that level) to kill enough Zombies to get anywhere. Maybe I need to play it a bit more (only downloaded it yesterday).

i've played it a bit and only a few times with the PH lot so only managed level 18 which is hard for me. still lots of fun

3 of us off here got to level 34 the other night, but then a slight cock up in trading my upgraded laser in made it all go wrong.

You probably wont be getting any upgraded weapons untill level 15 or so.

Laser? This is sounding interesting, maybe I will persevere........

I only played it once on-line and one of the players just ran around and opened loads of doors so we got attacked from behind in minutes...

PLayed it quite a bit single and two player... Tend to find it all hinges on creating a "crawler" of a zombie at the end of the rounds to allow you to run around and get magic boxes... unlock teleporters etc etc. once your past level 6 or so there is a fantastic place to sit out the zombies... a gantry above the door to the teleporter closest to the power switch.... especially fantastic if you have the wundersomethingorother electricity gun and the monkey bombs... oh and a mgun of some sort helps.

chuck the monkey bomb off the gantry and use the electricity gun on the mass of zombies that gather below.

however what normally kills me is trying to throw one of the monkey bombs in a gap that wasn't big enough.

got to level 12 on my own this way.. managed to link up all the teleporters but then got swamped trying to throw the monkeybomb before I could use the PAP.

ETA.. just got to level 17 on my own... however pinned in that corner and had been really unlucky with magic box... only had fg and bought STG off the wall.
