CoD this weekend

anyone up for some Call of Duty sometime this weekend. and anyone that didnt play last time should try to this time, its great fun. i know mungo said he would only be able to lay sunday night(uk night time) so we could plan sometime for then to end the weekend with.

who ran the server last time, i forget. Think u could do that again?

Easy, when you start CoD, just choose 'Start New Server'. You'll need to give out the IP address else we'll not find it unless you can keep it running 24/7. Don't choose 'Dedicated' if you want to play on it at the same time as hosting. I have a 600k NTL cable connection and it seemed to work fine.

Alternatively, we could choose an existing empty server and hijack it

ah, sounds easy enough. may have to try it sometime. Cept forgot that ur night time would be around my late afternoon time, which i will be gone for, so i might not be able to play with ya this time.

Although I'm out of the country, I got the laptop hooked up to the hotel broadband - but it crashes on the laptop as soon as I start a multiplayer game. Single player seems OK though ?!?

You missed a good game - could be the hotel firewall not allowing connection through the port
