A good Games site?

Does anyone know a good site for games news reviews etc etc? Basically a PH but for games?

Most of the sites I have found through google are over complicated, poor, slow, unreliable or just completely st.

Anyone got any recomendations?

I like Giant Bomb, good impartial reviews and I like their podcasts. However the forums can be a bit hit and miss with a lot of American Teens seemingly in residence, so I quickly stopped going to those.

They do have a cool XBox achievements section where you can compare what you've got, how fast you got it and who else has it. I'm in the top 10 for a few of the trickier achievements which made me quite smug.

As for films & DVDs, www.metacritic.com doesn't do the reviews, it just collects them all and allocates a score out of 100.

Best thing since beef monster munch if you ask me.

Yes I have tried them both and are what I refer to in the OP.

I'll try the Escapist later, I do watch the Zero Punctuation reviews on Youtube so could be the next step.
