Anyone know anything about Mafia coming out on the PS2 (and X-box I think) at the end of the month?

I've just been reading some reviews on it and not a bad word has been said. Most people think it's even better than the GTA games and a possible best game of all time!

I just started playing it on the PC..good game and a nice mix of driving and weilding baseball bats.

IS the PC one the same one which will be released on the PS2?

I just looked at the Amazon reviews and it's getting 5/5 all the way. They reckon it's much, much more realistic than GTA with you getting speeding tickets and even having to fill your car up with petrol - Can't wait!

Petrol lasts a very long time indeed so dont fill up often. Have you go to the race car mission? thats very hard indeed.

And i think its already out for the xbox

Just in case anyone is interested...

I bought Mafia on Saturday and have been playing it all weekend.

The missions are pretty easy and I've almost completed it already. It's quite a fun game but after the GTA games it's a bit dissapointing! It's much more like The Getaway than GTA as it's more realistic and its missions are set out the same way.

If anyone on here is still interested in getting the game I'd rent it first or wait until somewhere like GAME is selling them pre-owned for more like £20.
