I believe something similar happened to the most recent version of Grand Theft Auto. Different "bugs" showed up at different points. Unfortunately even relatively powerful machines weren't really up to the job and the line between intentional bugs and crap software was vague at best.

Not necessarily playing the game but posting for help on the official forum before the game is released requires a special type of stupid....However if you play pirated games then IMO you are a tit rather than stupid.

Oh God here we go agian.. if the sofware was a reasonable price in the first place then no one would bother cracking it, they would just buy it.
You only have to look at Microsoft with its suite of expensive software. A few years back, an OS and a decent copy of Office would cost you £800. That's more than most mid-range corporate PC's cost to supply. Half the reason we have virii is because disgruntled programmers who made the software what it is, got paid peanuts while the corporate business model expanded expotentially. It's only corporate greed ffs. I don't own a console, but just how much is a 360/PS3 game these days?? Value for money non?

Absolutely true. Bought the entire EA Battlefield collection new for under £30 two weeks ago and there are still hundreds of servers playing 64 player games

I understand the reasons for some of the things happening, particularly from corpoerate greed, but I still don't necessarily agree that joe public should just download things for nothing because they can't be arsed to pay full price for it, or that it's "too expensive". Personally, i don't find DVDs/Console Games that over-priced, but then thats all down to the time spent playing them and what you'd get for your money.You only have to look at Microsoft with its suite of expensive software. I can agree with some of the points above, it just angers me knowing I pay for the things I want and others sit there downloading some torrent or another so they can have the same experiences for sod all.
