Finished the game on the world series last night, am in the process of making all my medals 'silver'.

My question is, when can i get to simlpy choose a track, pick a car and go for a blast. No other cars, no time limit, just me caining a M3 round the n'ring?

Does this option only become available when you finish on Platinum?

I've finished the game up to silver, i have about 43 platinums. I'm not going to bother with Gold, going straight to platinum. The cone challenges are very hard, you need to a whole lap in one long combo.

You can race around a track with any car you like. Go to time trial and then circuit challenge and choose the track and car you want to do it with.

Ah, i forgot about the arcade bit!

Strictly speaking, it's not in the arcade bit. You go to single player, then time trial and then circuit challenge.
